Success Cases

Establishment of a 3D Training Lab at a University in Beijing

2026-02-11

As required by the university, we have determined that the 3D printing training laboratory will have a total planned area of 200 square meters. Based on the laboratory’s intended use, the equipment to be procured can be divided into five main zones: a display area, a 3D model design area, a reverse-engineering design area, an FDM assembly and commissioning area, and a 3D printing innovation area, thereby fully meeting all functional requirements of the training laboratory.

A University Purchases a Ceramic 3D Printer

2026-02-11

Through communication with the school, we gained a clear understanding of its specific needs and were able to recommend a ceramic 3D printer that fully meets all requirements. Yunshang Intelligent Manufacturing provided end-to-end VIP services, covering everything from equipment procurement and logistics to on-site installation and operator training. In addition, to ensure comprehensive after-sales support, our technical team has established a 24/7 VIP service hotline, ready to address any issues promptly at any time.

Custom Gifts – Jishuitan Archway

2026-02-11

Beijing Jishuitan Hospital commissioned us to develop a comprehensive, customized gift program within a five-day timeframe, with the gifts designed to reflect the hospital’s style and distinctive characteristics. Our proposal centered on using the hospital’s iconic pre-hospital paifang as the main element of the gifts, brought to life through 3D printing technology. We first conducted a 3D scan of the original paifang, then employed 3D printing combined with post-processing and coloration techniques to produce the finished pieces. Within the client’s specified timeline, we successfully completed 50 finished items, all of which passed inspection on the first attempt.

3D-Printed Custom Gift – Drunken Beauty

2026-02-11

In August 2019, our company collaborated with a theater to develop a commemorative souvenir concept for one of their performance events. The first step was to select a quintessential iconic figure. In Peking Opera, “The Consort’s Drunkenness,” also known as “Baihua Pavilion,” is a timeless classic of China’s national cultural heritage, and the scene of the consort’s drunkenness has long been a staple on the stage. Ultimately, we decided to center the design around Yang Guifei and create a set of colorful 3D-printed figurines as the event’s official mementos.

Peking University Department of Computer Science 40th Anniversary Souvenir

2026-02-11

The Department of Computer Science and Technology at Peking University has commissioned us to create a bespoke gift to commemorate the department’s 40th anniversary. Unlike conventional custom-gift solutions—such as mugs with personalized text and designs or USB drives—these options lack both commemorative significance and collectible value. The department has requested that we leverage the university’s unique identity to develop a special, one-of-a-kind custom product featuring innovative form and content.

3D Scanning Case Studies of Cultural Relics

2026-02-11

To better protect cultural relics and establish a digital museum, the client needs to digitally archive the artifacts in 3D and produce exact replicas for public display. The client requires rapid scanning and short-term delivery of 3D model data. In response, our technical team thoroughly assessed the requirements and developed a tailored solution, leveraging FARO’s high-precision smart scanning arm to efficiently complete the scanning task.

Industrial Parts Scanning Case

2026-02-11

This project involved scanning the cutterhead flange of a tunnel-boring machine. Due to wear, the cutterhead needed to be replaced, and the scan was performed specifically to tailor a new cutterhead to the existing flange. Given the equipment’s age, incomplete archival documentation, and the high cost of rework when the cutterhead is deployed underground, success on the first attempt was critical. Our technical team developed a comprehensive plan that effectively addressed all challenges, ultimately ensuring the successful completion of the task.

Villa 3D Scanning Case

2026-02-11

A private villa in the suburbs of Beijing was scanned on-site by three scanning engineers from Yunshang Intelligent Manufacturing. The building comprises five floors with a total area of approximately 975 square meters, plus a front yard and a backyard. Subsequently, technical personnel conducted reverse engineering based on the point cloud data, producing a model that accurately reflects the actual locations of the villa’s piping and wiring, thereby fully meeting all of the client’s requirements.
